AR Pirate R-Controlled Vowels Phonics Craft & Activities
File Type(s): ZIP
Arrr you ready to learn about AR words?!? This adorable headband is a great way to teach about the AR sound. I love teaching the Bossy R sound with my students because we get to become pirates! R-controlled vowels can be tricky, but your students will remember becoming a pirate for a day and the /ar/ sound.
Students will read words and choose only those with AR to glue onto their headband. Eye patch included! 😉 *The pirate eye patch may need to be adjusted depending on head size.*
Just added – 5 activities to practice AR words! These are perfect for centers or small group. Look at the preview to check them out!
– Spinning for Treas-arr Page
– AR Word Sort + Cut and Glue Page
– AR Bingo

– X Marks the Spot Write the Room Task Cards + Recording Page
